Candle Tips: Holiday Edition

As we gather to celebrate the holiday season and all that it means to us personally and collectively, I have noted some quick and cute holiday tips to use when incorporating candles into the mix.

  1. "Its beginning to SMELL a lot like Christmas"...Burning a candle with the following scents will add some "Jolly" to your decor:

  • Cinnamon
  • Coffee
  • Spices: Fig, Frankincense, Gingerbread (Ginger), Mint, and Myrrh
  • Peppermint
  • Pine Cones
  • Food: Cookies (Chocolate Chip/Sugar), Pies (Apple/Pumpkin) and Fruit
Having candles burning with these scents are sure to put you and your guests into the holiday spirit....or at least hungry.

     2.  "Cover Your Nose"....during the year, some households have special scents like new baby (poo diapers). In order to celebrate without the constant reminder smells, burning these scents can help with masking some of life's precious odors.
  • Fresh Linen / Clean Linen
  • Hawaiian Breeze
  • Day at the Spa
  • Lavender / Lilac
  • Other Florals
  • Smoke and Odor Eliminator
These wonderful scents are sure to cover all the smells of daily living during the holiday season (and the rest of the year for that matter).

    3. "Dinner Helpers".....planning a huge feast for the holidays? Use some of these edible scents to add to your guests anticipation and trick a few while they wait.
  • Armaretto Nog
  • Banana Nut Bread
  • Cobbler / Cheesecake
  • Cakes
  • Warmed Nuts (Pralines, etc)
  • Cookies/Cinnamon Buns
  • Fudge

So as you prepare for the holidays and would like to support a #smallbusiness in the process, order your favorite holiday scents and cheats from Naturally Perfect Candle Company, we've got what you need!

Happy Holidays,
ErikaNicole
